SupaPlants has developed and patented an inorganic gel for propagating plant life.  The gel contains the nutrients and water necessary to enable a plant to grow or a cutting to root, and at the same time dramatically reduces watering requirements.  It has applications in both the gardening and food market. 

SupaPlants is a spin-out from the Plant Sciences department of Sheffield University.
