Breathing Buildings designs and manufactures ultra low-energy ventilation systems.  They have developed a unique, controlled natural ventilation system (called 'E-Stack') which reduces overall energy consumption of buildings by 50% compared with conventional ventilation systems.  They have a range of solutions applicable primarily to the education, retail and leisure markets.

Breathing Buildings was spun out of University of Cambridge in 2008 following a BP-funded research programme at the BP Institute. They were formerly known as E-Stack which is the name of their market leading stack ventilation product.
