Bruce
Macfarlane
Bruce co-founded MMC Ventures in 2000. Having spent a number of
years as an active business angel investor he set up MMC to
formalise his approach to venture investing.
Previous experience
Before founding MMC, Bruce was Managing Director at Merrill
Lynch (where he was head of UK Investment Banking) and Bankers
Trust, where he was a Partner and Senior Managing Director
responsible for UK client origination. Previously he practised as
a US securities lawyer at Skadden Arps in New York.
Bruce has a BA in English from Leeds University and is a
Chartered Director. He qualified as a barrister in London and an
attorney in New York.
Bruce has lead responsibility for Neoss and is on the board for
Interactive Investor.
