We see investing in young dynamic companies as a partnership with the management team. We work closely with our portfolio companies, sharing practical experience we have gained since 2000, to create valuable businesses.

 

Tom Hopkins

Tom joined MMC in 2008 and is the Portfolio Director responsible for the overall management of MMC's portfolio companies.

Previous experience

Before joining MMC, Tom was part of the investment team at Active Private Equity LLP, a venture capital firm investing in the consumer and leisure sectors. Tom started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he advised clients in the financial services sector.

Tom is a qualified Chartered Accountant, he has an MBA in Economic History from Edinburgh University and an MBA from Insead Business School.

He is on the board of The Practice, Ibis and Clash Media.
